A site full of ideas and activities to develop, educate and entertain children.
Created by a Kelowna based educator and childcare provider, My Program Planner is designed for both parents and
childcare providers. Members share ideas, games, activities, and stories with each other.
OGIES FUN CLUB
A free site for children, created by a Kelowna based illustrator and designed for children 3 to 10 years of age.
Activities include cartoons, coloring pages, mazes, games, puzzles and more, centered around "Ogie" the Ogopogo.
GREAT WAY MARTIAL ARTS ACADEMY
Great Way Martial Arts provides programs that help children build confidence, concentration and self-control,
as well as providing opportunity for physical fitness.
KELOWNA CHILD CARE SOCIETY
Have a question about childcare in the Central Okanagan? The Kelowna Child Care Society is the place to go.
KCCS provides many resources for parents and childcare providers including Family Resource programs,
a childcare facility for young parents attending high school, learning courses, and a toy lending library, among other things.
KCCS also produces the annual Okanagan Parent magazine, and the educational booklet "What Should Your Child Be Doing".
Highlands EduCare is an active member of the society.
COMMUNITY ACTION TOWARD CHILDREN'S HEALTH
C.A.T.C.H. is a coalition of community partners working together to help make the Central Okanagan a great place to raise
children. C.A.T.C.H. helps to provide a better understanding of the importance of early childhood development in building
community by connecting people, hosting events and seminars, and integrating research with community needs.
Highlands EduCare is an active member of the coalition.
